Simulated Game Shooting

Simulated Game Shooting days with Fox Harris combine the excitement and camaraderie of driven bird shooting with the control and safety of clay target shooting. A typical day caters for a minimum of eight to a maximum of sixteen guns and will comprise five drives or stands on carefully selected shooting estates using their normal game bird drives with in excess of 1,000 "birds" released on each drive. The "birds" will be presented over trees and hedges, off high banks and are intended to replicate the challenges of a normal day shooting. Your day will be organised as if it were a normal shooting day with four wheel drive transport, loaders / instructors, normal length drives, coffee breaks and a shoot lunch at the end of the day.

Simulated Game Shooting is an ideal diversion for both corporate entertainment and for groups of friends who want to find country pursuit oriented pastimes to occupy them during the spring and summer months. Our estate is located in the heart of the countryside away from the clamour of modern day life so ensuring a relaxed and amusing day away.

Live game shooting will, sometimes, not be appropriate client entertainment for reasons of cost, lack of shooting experience on the behalf of clients or the need to entertain a greater number of people than can be accommodated on a normal day’s shooting. Simulated Game Shooting caters for individuals who have no previous shooting experience as well as those who want to brush up their technique before the shooting season starts. Simulated Game Shooting is also an ideal manner in which to brush up your skills prior to the start of the new shooting season.

Fox Harris can organise the hire of guns and ammunition and will arrange shooting instructors for each gun taking part if so required.
